Traditional and Ritual Theater Festival to be held September

Iran’s 18th Traditional and Ritual Theater Festival is to be held in the Iranian capital city of Tehran starting from September 1, 2017.  

The festival holds ritual performances and traditional theater plays belonging to different parts of the country.

This year’s edition of the festival will include sections such as:

- Traditional puppetry

- Dramatic story-telling and national narratives

- Ritual theater     

-Traditional public shows, rituals and roleplays.

- Iranian youth theater

- International traditional theater

Iran’s 18th Traditional and Ritual Theater Festival, with Davoud Fathali-Beigi appointed as secretary of the event, will receive fans in Tehran from September.
